YupCase (yupcase.com) uses, in addition to the cookie necessary for the site to function, Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement cookies only if you give your consent. The site works fully even if you do not give consent. In addition, to improve the site, we keep on-site visit statistics that are stored only on our own server and do not use cookies.

Necessary cookies

NameTypeWhat it doesDuration
YCSIDNecessary, first-partySecurity of the payment and contact forms (protection against forged requests), security question, order processingDeleted when the browser is closed or after 2 hours of inactivity
yc_bayiFunctional, first-partyWhen you scan a shop's (dealer's) QR code, it stores the dealer code: the discount specific to that dealer is applied to your cart and the order is recorded under the dealer. It is created only when you arrive via a dealer's QR code.1 year

YCSID is created when the "Leave a message" form or the dealer application form appears on the screen, or when you wish to complete your order at the payment step; yc_bayi only when you arrive via a dealer's QR code. Neither contains any information that identifies you, and since they are necessary for the service you request, they are not subject to consent.

Analytics and advertising cookies subject to consent (Google)

If you select “Accept” in the banner shown on your first visit to the site, the following cookies are used; if you select “Reject”, they are not used.

With these cookies we measure information such as how much each page is visited, which source visitors come from (e.g. advertising, search, social media), which device and browser they use, their approximate location (country/city) and which campaign orders come from. Our aim is to improve the site, the shopping flow and our advertising. For visitors who have allowed ad personalisation in their Google account, Google may also use this data for cross-device measurement and advertising audiences (Google signals). When an order is completed, the order number, amount and product information are sent for purchase measurement; your name, phone number, email, address and order tracking key are not sent to Google.

If you do not give consent: under Google Consent Mode, Google Analytics continues to receive, without using cookies, limited measurement signals that do not identify you (e.g. page view, time, browser type); these signals do not create cookies on your device.

The data are processed abroad (USA) by Google LLC.

On-site visit statistics

While you browse the site, your browser sends the following information only to our server: a random visitor ID created in your browser and which visit this is for you; the pages you open and which step you are at on the home page (phone selection, designs, cart, payment), the phone model you have selected, the number of cases in your cart and their amount, the design you have added to the cart; where you came to the site from (address of the referring site, advertising or campaign tag); device type, browser, operating system, screen size, device language and time spent on the page. Your approximate location (country, city) is determined from your IP address using the location database on our server; only the first part of the IP address is stored. If you place an order, this visit is associated with your order.

Your name, phone number, email, address, card details, the name you have printed on the case or the photo you upload are not included in these statistics. Our aim is to see where the shopping steps become difficult, to help you in good time when needed and to measure which promotional channel works. This information is not shared with third parties, is not used for advertising and is deleted after 60 days. The "… browsing YupCase right now" figure that sometimes appears in the opening section of the site is also calculated from these statistics, without identifying anyone.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from the Google Fonts service; in the process your IP address is transmitted to Google LLC, but Google Fonts does not set cookies. The Google Analytics script (gtag.js) is loaded from Google servers. The bank and iyzico verification pages that open at the payment step may use their own security cookies in accordance with their own policies.

How can you manage cookies?

You can change your analytics cookie preference at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page; when you withdraw your consent, Google cookies are deleted and are not created again.

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookie, the payment and contact forms will not work; if you clear local storage, your cart, phone selection and your own design draft are reset, and your ID in the visit statistics is also renewed (its link with your previous visits is broken).
